What does the condition standards stand for?

Pristine:
Items show no signs of being worn and include tags, box and dust bag.

Excellent:
Items are in clearly unused, but tags are not attached and boxes or dust bags are not included.

Very Good:
May show slight signs of wear such as lightly worn corners or creased leather.

Good:
May show more prominent signs of wear such as worn corners, creased leather and tarnished at hardware.

Fair
The item was worn many times and has obvious signs of wear or defects.

Do items come with original packaging and paperwork?

Items that come with their original boxes, dust bags, authenticity certificates and/or manuals will contain the appropriate message in their product descriptions. Therefore please read every unique product description carefully to see what includes with the item.

Do your item not include a dust bag? – Don’t worry; all orders from us includes one extra specially designed A Retro Tale dust bag.

Which payment method do you offer?

When shopping at A Retro Tale, you can choose to pay using the payment methods offered by Klarna detailed below.

PAY NOW – You can pay using a VISA, Mastercard or AMEX card in any of our shipping countries. If you reside in Sweden, Germany, Austria or Netherlands, you may also choose to shop using other direct banking options which will also be available at check out. Payment will be taken as soon as your order is confirmed.

PAY LATER – Customers in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland, Germany, Austria, Netherlands & United Kingdom can choose to buy now and pay later, when choosing this method you pay after delivery and therefore get a 14 days credit. This option will be shown to you at checkout depending on your eligibility.

If you are not eligible you will still see Pay Now options. You will receive information on how and when to pay when your order has been dispatched.

SLICE IT – Customer in Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Finland & Germany can choose to open an account with Klarna and receive monthly statements based on the option you chose. This option will be shown at checkout depending on your eligibility. If you are not eligible you will still see Pay Now option. You will receive account information when your order is dispatched.

Are the images shown on your website of the actual items listed for sale?

Yes, we always take as many detailed images of every product necessary that we sell. We do our best to especially provide images of areas of wear and tear.

Therefore please always look over all the images and read the product description carefully before purchasing to get a good view of the condition of your items. You can read more about our conditions standard on every product page.

Do you have a showroom or retail store where I can shop in person?

As an online-only retailer, we do not have a showroom to display our products. Please note that we are not able to provide access to our warehouse for walk-in customers.

How much is shipping?

We offer free shipping on all EU orders and a flat rate of 15€ on all orders outside EU

A Retro Tale deliver worldwide. We strive to ship your order as soon as possible, and will ship your order within 1-3 business days. All packages are shipped by DHL. When shipping your order, you will receive a track & trace number to follow your order.

A Retro Tale hold the responsibility for the shipped products until you have received and signed for this.

Delivery time in Europe: 1-4 business days.

Delivery time to the rest of the world: 3-6 business days.

Returns

Our goal at A Retro Take is to guarantee our customers 100 percent satisfaction. That is why A Retro Tale offers a 14 day return policy and a lifetime 100 percent authenticity guarantee.

In order to avoid unnecessary returns, please note that the majority of the items we sell have tales to tell. For that reason, please look over our pictures, the descriptions and the measurements before making your purchase.

With the above said, your satisfaction means everything to us. If you are not completely satisfied with your purchase, we will gladly refund or exchange your item under the following conditions, no questions asked.

  1. Notify us within 14 days of receiving your item.
  2.  Merchandise must be unused and returned in the same condition as received.
  3.  Each security tag must remain intact and attached to the item.
  4.  Return shipment must be made via a trackable shipping method.

A Retro Tale is not responsible for shipping charges related to returns. To initiate a return, please contact us info@aretrotale.com. Please note that A Retro Tale cannot refund items lost in transit.

Refunds will be processed as soon as we receive and examine the returned item. Returned items will be compared to original photos taken of the item before the initial delivery to you. If the item is found to have been used or to be in a condition different from its original, we reserve the right to refuse the return. These items will be returned back to the customer. Please note that shipping costs are non-refundable.

A Retro Tale reserves the right for compensation up to the full value of the item(s) if any of the above conditions are not met.

Should you ever question the authenticity of an item sold at A Retro Tale, we are pleased to direct you to a reputable independent authentication service.

Kindly note that there is a 60 Euro charge for unclaimed items, regardless of the value of the item.

 

How do I get a refund?

We use Klarna Checkout as our full payment service. If you paid by credit or debit card, direct debit or directly via Klarna’s app or website, the amount will be transferred back to the account or card used within 2-5 business days. If you paid an invoice otherwise (i.e. via bank transfer), you will be contacted by Klarna to provide information necessary to process your refund shortly after A Retro Tale has authorized the refund.

Upon receiving the returned item, we inspect the goods prior to processing the refund. Once inspection is passed, returns are fully refunded. From the day you send the returned goods to us it will take up to 10 working days for the return to be processed.

What if I removed the Authenticity Tag?

To qualify for a full refund, our Authenticity Tags must remain attached. If the tag is removed the item is not returnable.
