Q: What is the Balenciaga Le Cagole Coin Card Holder?
A: A compact wallet from Balenciaga’s Le Cagole line, crafted here in black crocodile‑embossed calfskin with aged‑gold hardware. It combines a zipped main compartment and front zipped pocket with the line’s signature decorative studs, plus four external card slots and a knotted leather wristlet strap for grab‑and‑go use.

Q: What are the dimensions of this piece?
A: Approximately 11.5 cm (W) x 8 cm (H) x 0.5 cm (D), making it slim enough for pockets and mini bags. In inches that’s roughly 4.5" x 3.1" x 0.2". Minor variations can occur with handcrafted leather goods.

Q: How much does it hold in everyday use?
A: The four external slots comfortably fit one card each (they may relax slightly with wear). The zipped compartment is ideal for coins and folded notes, and can hold a couple of extra cards or a slim key. To preserve the leather’s shape, avoid overfilling.

Q: Is the wristlet strap removable?
A: The wristlet is knotted/looped through the zipper pull. It can be untied and removed, but repeated removal may mark the leather or loosen the knot. It’s designed primarily for wrist carry and quick access.

Q: What materials and hardware does it use, and how should I care for it?
A: It’s made from crocodile‑embossed calfskin with aged‑gold metal hardware. Wipe with a soft, dry cloth; if needed, use a neutral leather cream very sparingly on the leather only. Keep away from moisture, oils, and prolonged sunlight, and avoid contact with abrasive surfaces or dark textiles that may transfer colour. Store empty, zipped, and in a dust bag or box when not in use.

Q: Does it fit banknotes flat and will a passport fit?
A: Standard banknotes fit when folded and placed in the zipped compartment; notes will not lie flat. A passport will not fit due to the compact size.

Q: Is this unisex?
A: Yes. Its minimalist silhouette and neutral black colour make it suitable for any wardrobe regardless of gender.

Q: Where is it made and does it have a serial number or code?
A: Production location and coding can vary by season and item type. Many Balenciaga small leather goods are made in Italy; some pieces have internal codes while others do not. The presence or absence of a visible code is not by itself proof of authenticity—A Retro Tale authenticates every item via multi‑point checks.

Q: What’s included with this pre‑owned item?
A: This listing includes a box as shown/mentioned in the Accessories section. Please review the photos and description to see exactly what is included.

Q: How does this differ from the Le Cagole Coin Purse without card slots?
A: The Coin Card Holder adds external card slots to the classic Le Cagole coin purse layout (zipped main compartment and front zipped pocket with studs), giving you both coin storage and quick‑access card organisation in one ultra‑slim piece.
