Q: What is the Bvlgari Bulgari Bulgari 26mm Ref BB26SS (2007)?
A: It’s a Swiss‑made stainless‑steel ladies’ watch featuring a 26mm case, integrated steel bracelet, a mother‑of‑pearl dial, the signature double‑engraved “BVLGARI BVLGARI” bezel, and a date display. Elegant, refined and ideal for everyday wear and evening occasions.

Q: Is the movement quartz or automatic, and what is the expected battery/power reserve?
A: Many 26mm BB26SS watches from the mid‑2000s use a Swiss quartz movement; some variants exist. Typical quartz battery life is around 2–3 years. If this specific piece is automatic, power reserve is generally around 38–42 hours. Contact us and we’ll confirm the exact calibre in this watch.

Q: How do I set the time and date safely?
A: For a quartz/date model: pull the crown to the first click to quick‑set the date, and to the second click to set the time. Turn the crown gently (anti‑clockwise or clockwise as applicable), then push it back in firmly. Avoid changing the date between roughly 8pm and 2am to protect the mechanism. If yours is automatic, the same date‑change caution applies; wind 20–30 turns if the watch has stopped before setting.

Q: Is it water‑resistant, and can I swim with it?
A: As a vintage watch, water resistance cannot be guaranteed without recent servicing and pressure testing. We recommend avoiding swimming, showering or submersion unless the gaskets have been replaced and the watch professionally tested. Always ensure the crown is fully pushed in before any light moisture exposure.

Q: What crystal does it use—sapphire or mineral?
A: Most Bulgari Bulgari models from this era feature a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal. If you’d like absolute confirmation for this exact watch, let us know and we’ll verify it for you.

Q: Will the bracelet fit my wrist, and can it be resized?
A: This watch currently fits a wrist up to approximately 16.5 cm. It is delivered with two extra links, and we can size the bracelet prior to dispatch. Further links can often be sourced subject to availability—contact us with your wrist measurement for guidance.

Q: What’s included with this listing?
A: It comes as a full set with box, certificate and two extra bracelet links. A Retro Tale provides a 12‑month mechanical guarantee, free insured DHL shipping, a 14‑day return policy, and 0% customs fees for EU buyers.

Q: How should I care for the mother‑of‑pearl dial and polished steel?
A: Avoid chemicals, perfumes and solvents near the dial and case. Wipe the watch with a soft microfibre cloth after wear. Keep it away from extreme heat, strong magnets and hard impacts. If water resistance is important, have gaskets inspected and replaced periodically.

Q: What accuracy and service intervals should I expect?
A: A healthy Swiss quartz watch should keep very accurate time; replace the battery about every 2–3 years and have seals checked every few years. If this piece is automatic, expect good everyday accuracy with routine servicing roughly every 5–10 years, or sooner if you notice running issues or moisture.

Q: Is it authentic, and how do you verify details?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage accessories. Every watch is professionally inspected and authenticated. On request, we’ll share additional photos and confirm movement, reference and serial details for your peace of mind.
