ChanelCC Reversible Belt, Size 85

Q: Is this Chanel belt reversible?
A: Yes. This piece features a reversible design, so it can be worn with either side facing out depending on your look. It also has the signature CC buckle and an adjustable closure for flexible styling.

Q: What does size 85 mean?
A: Size 85 generally refers to the belt’s fit range and is commonly associated with an approximately 85 cm waist position. As belt sizing can vary depending on whether you wear it at the waist, hips, or over clothing, the best guide is to compare it with a belt you already own and wear comfortably.

Q: Will this belt fit through standard belt loops?
A: The belt width is 3.5 cm. That usually works well with many trousers, jeans, and tailored pieces, but loop sizes do vary by garment, so we recommend checking your clothing if you plan to wear it through belt loops rather than over dresses or outerwear.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: This item is in very good condition with light traces of use. The leather shows gentle wear, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful previous use.

Q: Is the buckle silver-tone?
A: Yes. According to the product information, this belt features silver-tone hardware and a signature CC buckle.

Q: What is included with the belt?
A: The item comes with the box and dust bag listed in the product information. If you would like confirmation before purchase, feel free to contact us.

Q: Can this belt be adjusted?
A: Yes. It has an adjustable closure, allowing you to fasten it across the available hole positions within the size 85 range. For the best fit, compare your usual wearing point with a similar belt at home.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Chanel leather belt?
A: We recommend wiping it gently with a soft, dry cloth after use and avoiding prolonged exposure to moisture, heat, direct sunlight, perfume, or rough surfaces. When not in use, store it flat or loosely rolled in its dust bag or box to help protect the leather and hardware.

Q: How can I tell if this belt is authentic?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is carefully checked for authenticity by experienced specialists. For vintage Chanel accessories, authentication typically considers details such as materials, construction, hardware, branding, and overall craftsmanship.

Q: Is this belt better for the waist or the hips?
A: That depends on your measurements and styling preference. Chanel belts in size 85 are often worn around the waist or on the hips depending on the outfit, so we suggest comparing the fit to a belt you already wear in a similar way.
