Q: What fits inside this Chanel Classic Wallet on Chain Bag?
A: At approximately 19 × 13 × 4 cm, it is best suited to a few everyday essentials, such as cards, keys and a small lip product. A phone may fit depending on its size and case; check your phone’s measurements against the bag’s dimensions before purchasing.

Q: Is it a wallet or a handbag?
A: The Wallet on Chain is a compact bag designed for carrying essentials without a full-sized handbag. If you need space for a separate large wallet or bulkier items, this may be too small.

Q: Can I wear it crossbody?
A: Its chain strap allows for hands-free wear, including crossbody wear if the length suits you. The listed strap measurement is 63 cm; how the bag sits will depend on your height and how you wear the chain.

Q: What are the bag’s exact measurements?
A: The listed dimensions are 19 cm wide, 13 cm high and 4 cm deep. These measurements are useful to compare with the items you intend to carry.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: It is listed in Very Good Condition, with light traces of use on both the exterior and interior. The hardware is shiny with light scratches. As a pre-owned piece, it should not be expected to look brand new.

Q: Does it come with an authenticity card, box or dust bag?
A: A serial number tag is listed with this bag. An authenticity card, box and dust bag are not listed; please refer to the product information for what is included.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: The product information associates its partially masked serial number with 2020 and lists Italy as the country of origin. The full serial number is not displayed publicly.

Q: How is its authenticity checked?
A: A Retro Tale states that its experts review the details of the luxury items it sells to verify authenticity. A serial number is one detail to consider, not a substitute for examining the bag as a whole.

Q: How should I care for and store it?
A: Avoid overfilling it and keep it away from prolonged sunlight and moisture. Use a soft cloth for gentle care, and avoid products that could affect its finish. When storing it, protect the chain from contact with the bag’s surface to help prevent marks.
