ChanelCoco Mark Clip-On Earrings

Q: Are these Chanel earrings suitable for non-pierced ears?
A: Yes. This pair has a clip-on closure, so it is designed to be worn without pierced ears. If you do have pierced ears, you can still wear them as a clip style.

Q: What size are these earrings?
A: They measure approximately 2 cm wide with a depth of about 1.5 cm, giving them a compact but recognisable Coco Mark look.

Q: What are they made from?
A: These earrings are crafted in gold-tone metal and feature Chanel's iconic Coco Mark design. They are vintage fashion jewellery rather than fine jewellery.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: They are listed in very good condition. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful wear on a vintage piece.

Q: Are they made in France?
A: Yes. The country-of-origin label for this pair is France.

Q: Do they come with a box or authenticity card?
A: No. This pair is listed with no included items. Please refer to the product information on this page for exactly what accompanies the earrings.

Q: Are vintage Chanel clip-on earrings comfortable to wear?
A: Comfort can vary from person to person, but clip-on earrings are designed to sit securely on the lobe without a piercing. For the best comfort, position them gently and take breaks during very long wear if you have sensitive ears.

Q: How should I care for gold-tone vintage Chanel earrings?
A: Keep them away from water, perfume, hairspray and cosmetics, and wipe them gently with a soft dry cloth after wear. Store them separately in a dry place to help protect the finish and minimise surface scratches.

Q: How do you authenticate Chanel vintage jewellery?
A: At A Retro Tale, vintage Chanel pieces are checked by specialists using details such as construction, hardware, logo execution, finish, era-specific markings and overall craftsmanship before being offered for sale.
