ChanelCoco Mark Heart Necklace

Q: What are the standout details of this necklace?
A: This is a vintage Chanel necklace with gold-tone hardware, a chain-link design, pink enamel Coco Mark and heart pendants, and a spring-ring fastening.

Q: What is the necklace length?
A: The listed necklace perimeter is 36 cm. That is a relatively short length, so it is likely to sit close to the base of the neck. Please compare it with a necklace you already own for the best idea of fit.

Q: Is the length adjustable?
A: A spring-ring fastening is listed, but no extender chain is noted in the product information. Unless otherwise confirmed, it is best to treat this as a fixed-length necklace.

Q: What condition is it in?
A: The overall condition is Very Good, with light trace of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with a well-kept vintage piece.

Q: Does it come with a box, dust bag or authenticity card?
A: No extra items are included with this piece. Everything that comes with the necklace is shown in the product information, and this item is listed with no additional inclusions.

Q: Is this fine jewellery or costume jewellery?
A: This necklace is described with gold-tone hardware and enamel pendants, which places it in Chanel fashion jewellery rather than solid-gold fine jewellery.

Q: How should I care for vintage Chanel jewellery like this?
A: Apply perfume, lotion and makeup before putting it on, and avoid water, soap, humidity and harsh cleaning products. After wearing, gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it separately to help protect the finish and enamel.

Q: Can I wear it every day?
A: It can certainly be worn often, but vintage fashion jewellery is best treated with care. Regular exposure to moisture, fragrance, friction and rough handling can speed up wear, so pieces like this are usually best suited to careful day-to-evening use.

Q: How is vintage Chanel jewellery usually authenticated or dated?
A: Authentication is usually based on the overall construction, finish, clasp, signature plaque or stamp, and how those details match the correct Chanel era. Exact dating normally requires a clear close-up of the hallmark or plaque, so if you would like more detail, it is worth asking for that specific information before purchase.
