ChanelLeather 3-Row Chain Belt

Q: What are the key details of this Chanel Leather 3-Row Chain Belt?
A: This vintage Chanel belt features black leather interwoven through a gold-tone chain, a striking three-row design, CC logo medallions and a hook closure. It has a jewellery-like look that works as both a functional belt and a statement finishing piece.

Q: What does size 90 mean and how should I check the fit?
A: Chanel belt sizes are generally given in centimetres, so size 90 usually corresponds to around 90 cm. For the best fit, measure where you plan to wear it, either at the waist or lower on the hips, and compare that measurement with the stated size.

Q: Is this chain belt adjustable?
A: The hook closure allows more flexibility than a fixed-hole belt, as it can usually be fastened at different points along the chain. That makes it easier to style higher on the waist or lower on the hips depending on your measurements and the look you want.

Q: How large are the CC logo medallions?
A: The CC logo medallions measure approximately 3 cm by 3 cm, giving the belt a noticeable Chanel signature without overwhelming the overall design.

Q: How can I style a three-row Chanel chain belt?
A: This style looks especially chic over dresses, blazers, knitwear, tailored trousers or skirts. The layered chain design adds definition and a polished vintage Chanel accent, whether worn for daytime dressing or evening occasions.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: It is listed in very good vintage condition with light traces of use. Please note that the hardware shows scratches and discolouration, which is consistent with age and wear on a vintage piece.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This piece is listed with no additional items included. Everything included with the sale is shown in the product information on this page.

Q: How should I care for a vintage leather-and-chain Chanel belt?
A: To help preserve it, avoid water, perfume, oils, prolonged sunlight, heat and humidity. Wipe gently with a soft dry cloth after use and store it carefully so the chain does not tangle and the leather is not put under strain or creased unnecessarily.

Q: How do you authenticate this belt?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is verified by experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, hardware, logo details, stamps and overall era consistency. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.
