Christian DiorOblique Zipped Pouch With Strap

Q: What typically fits inside the Dior Homme Oblique Zipped Pouch?
A: It’s a compact, twin‑zip pouch suited to daily essentials: a large smartphone (including many Pro/Max models without a bulky case), a slim cardholder or compact wallet, keys, lipstick, earphones and a passport. Slim sunglasses may fit without a hard case. Continental (long) wallets and tablets generally do not. For certainty, compare your items with the Measurements on this page or ask us for a tailored fit check for this exact piece.

Q: Will my iPhone Pro/Max fit?
A: Most Pro/Max phones fit comfortably, though very thick or rugged cases can make the fit snug. Please compare your phone’s dimensions to the Measurements shown or contact us and we’ll test the fit against this specific pouch.

Q: Is the strap adjustable or removable? Can I wear it crossbody?
A: Yes—the ‘Christian Dior’ jacquard strap is detachable and adjustable, allowing shoulder or crossbody wear. You can also remove the strap to use the pouch handheld or as a clutch. We list the strap drop in the Measurements—if anything’s missing, just ask and we’ll confirm for you.

Q: How secure is the closure and what is the interior layout?
A: The pouch features two top zip closures for good everyday security. Inside, you’ll find a black fabric lining and two main zipped compartments to separate essentials like phone, cards and keys. Our listing photos show the exact configuration of this piece.

Q: What materials and hardware does this model use?
A: This piece is crafted in beige and black Dior Oblique jacquard canvas with black leather trim, silver‑tone hardware and a black textile lining. It is made in Italy; the item details on this page specify the exact materials and origin.

Q: How should I care for Dior Oblique jacquard canvas and the leather trim?
A: Keep the pouch away from moisture, oils and prolonged sunlight, and be mindful of colour transfer from dark denim onto lighter fabrics. Gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth; treat the leather trim very sparingly with a high‑quality neutral conditioner (test first on a discreet area). Store it lightly stuffed, upright, in a breathable dust bag, and avoid overloading to preserve shape. Protect hardware from rubbing during storage to minimise hairline scratches.

Q: Is the pouch water‑resistant?
A: The jacquard canvas is durable but not waterproof. If it gets lightly wet, blot (don’t rub) with a soft cloth and allow it to air‑dry away from heat. We generally don’t recommend spray protectors on woven fabrics, but if you choose to use one, test on a hidden area first to avoid darkening or residue.

Q: Where are the Dior brand markings and codes located?
A: Authentic Dior pouches typically feature an interior heat‑stamp (e.g., “Christian Dior” and the country of origin). Many pieces include a production/date code on or behind an interior leather tab; placement and format vary by era. We’re happy to share close‑up photos and help identify details for this specific item on request.

Q: What accessories are included and how do you authenticate?
A: Included items are listed under “Accessories.” For this pouch, the detachable strap is included; if an accessory isn’t mentioned there, it isn’t included—feel free to ask us to confirm. Every item at A Retro Tale undergoes rigorous, multi‑point authentication by our in‑house experts, assessing materials, stitching, hardware, stamps, codes/microchips and overall construction. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we sell.

Q: Is this style still produced and is it unisex?
A: Dior continues to release Oblique pouches and small bags, though exact configurations and straps vary by season. The Homme Oblique Zipped Pouch is widely worn by all genders thanks to its clean, versatile design. The pre‑loved market is the best way to find specific colourways and editions like this one.
