Q: What fits inside this Fendi Zucca Baguette Bag?
A: This bag is ideal for daily essentials such as a phone, card holder or compact wallet, keys, lipstick, and other small items. Its slim east-west shape means it is best for light, organised packing rather than bulky belongings. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions: 30 x 15 x 3 cm.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This vintage Baguette is designed to sit neatly under the arm and features a single flat leather shoulder strap with an approximate strap drop of 19 cm. It is intended as a shoulder bag rather than a crossbody style.

Q: Does this bag have a secure closure?
A: Yes. It has a magnetic flap closure, which keeps everyday essentials covered while allowing easy access.

Q: What materials and colour details does this bag have?
A: This piece features brown Zucca canvas with brown leather trim, brown fabric lining, and silver-tone hardware. The Zucca pattern is one of Fendi’s most recognisable vintage house motifs.

Q: Is this an original vintage Fendi Baguette style?
A: The Baguette is one of Fendi’s most iconic designs and is known for its slim, underarm silhouette. This example has the classic vintage look with Zucca canvas, leather trim, and flap-front construction that collectors often look for in earlier Baguette styles.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: It is listed in very good condition with light traces of use. The interior is also in very good condition with light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. Please note that the interior has a vintage smell, as stated in the product information.

Q: Does the bag come with any extras?
A: Yes. This item comes with a dust bag. Everything included is listed under the product information section; if another item is not listed there, it is not included.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Zucca canvas bag?
A: To help preserve it, store the bag in its dust bag when not in use, keep it away from prolonged direct sunlight and moisture, and avoid overfilling so the silhouette stays neat. For routine care, gently wipe the canvas and leather trim with a soft, dry cloth and avoid harsh cleaning products.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Fendi bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully vetted for authenticity by examining details such as materials, construction, stitching, hardware, branding, and interior markings where applicable. Vintage Fendi bags can vary by production period, so authentication is always based on the overall piece rather than one detail alone.
