GoyardSaint Louis PM Tote Bag

Q: What size is the Goyard Saint Louis PM Tote Bag?
A: This item measures approximately 44 × 27 × 14 cm, with a handle drop of about 19 cm. The PM is the smaller Saint Louis size and is generally preferred for everyday use over the roomier GM.

Q: What typically fits inside the Saint Louis PM?
A: It comfortably holds daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses, a small cosmetics pouch, a water bottle and A4 documents or a slim tablet. As the bag is soft and unstructured, capacity can vary depending on how you pack it, so please use the measurements on this page as your best guide.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. The dual flat handles are designed for shoulder or hand carry. On the PM size, the fit under heavier coats can feel a little snug, so comfort may vary depending on your build and what you are wearing.

Q: Does this tote have a zip or top closure?
A: No. This Saint Louis PM has an open top, which gives it the easy, lightweight feel the model is known for. The detachable pouch is especially useful for keeping smaller essentials organised inside.

Q: Is the Saint Louis PM structured?
A: No, it is known for a lightweight, flexible and softly structured shape rather than a rigid silhouette. That makes it easy to carry and fold, but it will not stand upright like a more structured tote.

Q: Is the Saint Louis PM a good everyday bag?
A: Yes. It is one of Goyard’s most popular everyday totes thanks to its light weight, practical shape and generous interior for essentials without feeling as large as the GM size.

Q: How should I care for Goyardine canvas and leather trim?
A: Clean it gently with a soft, lint-free cloth and avoid harsh rubbing, solvents or shop-bought cleaners. Store it in its dust bag away from direct light, heat and damp, ideally with light stuffing inside to help maintain its shape. If it gets wet, dab it dry rather than rubbing.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This bag comes with a dust bag and detachable matching pouch, as listed in the product information.

Q: What is the condition of this vintage piece?
A: This item is in Very Good condition with light traces of use to the exterior and interior. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: How do you authenticate this bag?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully vetted by experts who assess materials, construction, hardware, markings and overall consistency before sale. We stand behind the authenticity of all items we offer.
