Q: What material and colour is this Gucci 1973 Suede Flap Bag?
A: This bag has a black suede exterior and is labelled as made in Italy.

Q: What are the bag’s measurements?
A: The bag measures approximately 18 cm wide, 15 cm high and 6 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 17 cm.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Its compact dimensions make it best suited to small essentials, such as a cardholder, keys and a lipstick. Phone fit will depend on your device and case, as the usable interior space is smaller than the exterior measurements. Compare your essentials with the listed dimensions before purchasing.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: A crossbody strap is not confirmed in the product information. A handle measurement of 17 cm is listed, but no separate strap measurement is provided. If crossbody wear is important to you, please ask for confirmation before purchasing.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor wear on the edges and light discolouration on the suede. The interior is also rated very good, with light dents in the lining. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: A booklet is listed in the product information. A box, dust bag and authenticity card are not listed as included.

Q: How should I clean the suede and treat the existing discolouration?
A: Avoid scrubbing, soaking or applying household cleaners. Gucci advises seeking material-specific guidance from a boutique for suede and avoiding cleaning or protective products that could alter the appearance or cause stains. For the existing discolouration, seek professional advice rather than attempting a stain-removal treatment at home.

Q: Can I use this suede bag in the rain?
A: It is best kept away from rain and excessive moisture. Suede can develop water marks and changes in texture when wet. If the bag gets wet, gently blot it with a soft, dry cloth and let it dry naturally away from direct heat.

Q: How should I store the bag when it is not in use?
A: Store it in a breathable fabric dust bag, away from direct sunlight, heat and humidity. Keep other items off the bag to help prevent scratches and dents. A dust bag is not listed in this item’s product information, so you may need to provide one separately.
