Q: What size is this hair clip?
A: The clip measures approximately 7 cm wide, 4 cm high and 0.5 cm deep. As it is a relatively compact barrette, it is best suited to styling smaller sections of hair, side sweeps, or half-up looks rather than replacing a large everyday grip clip.

Q: Is this hair clip suitable for all hair types?
A: It can be worn with many hair types, but the fit will depend on your hair thickness and the style you want to create. Because of its size, it is generally best for decorative styling, pinning back smaller sections, or adding a statement detail to finished hairstyles.

Q: How should I care for a resin and rhinestone hair clip like this?
A: Handle it gently and avoid dropping it or placing heavy items on top of it. To keep it looking its best, wipe it carefully with a soft dry cloth and avoid water, perfume, hairspray build-up, heat, or harsh cleaning products, as these may affect the resin, crystals, or metal finish.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

These charges are typically collected by the shipping carrier at the time of delivery and are not included in the product price.

Q: What are the key features of this Gucci hair clip?
A: This Gucci GG Hearts Rhinestone Hair Clip features brown tortoiseshell-effect resin with a pink heart detail, a crystal-embellished border, the Interlocking GG logo, and a gold-tone metal barrette clip fastening.

Q: How does the clip fasten?
A: It uses a classic gold-tone metal barrette fastening, which is designed to secure neatly into the hair while keeping the decorative front visible.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: This piece is in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with gentle wear on a pre-owned accessory.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no accessories.

Q: Can I wear this clip every day?
A: Yes, it can be worn for everyday styling as well as special occasions, but it is best treated as a decorative luxury accessory. Rotating use and careful storage will help preserve the resin, rhinestones and gold-tone fastening over time.

Q: How can I tell if a pre-owned Gucci hair clip is authentic?
A: Authenticity should be assessed through the overall quality of materials, finish, logo details, construction and hardware consistency. At A Retro Tale, all items are reviewed by in-house experts so you can shop pre-owned luxury with confidence.

Q: Is this more of a functional clip or a statement accessory?
A: It is both, but its standout design makes it especially well suited as a statement hair accessory. The heart motif, crystal detailing and Interlocking GG logo give it a dressier, more decorative look than a simple everyday clip.
