A: This pre-owned necklace is in Very Good Condition, with minor scratches and scuffs. It is not described as pristine or unworn.

Q: How long is this necklace?
A: The listed necklace perimeter is 60 cm. This measures around the necklace rather than its vertical drop when worn; the position on your neckline will depend on your neck size and clothing.

Q: What colour is this Hermès Duncan Necklace?

Q: Can I wear this necklace in the shower or while swimming?
A: As a precaution, remove it before showering, swimming or exercising. Hermès recommends protecting jewellery from moisture, chlorinated and salt water, perfumes and cosmetics. This piece is not listed as waterproof.

Q: How should I clean this pre-owned necklace?
A: For routine surface dust, gently wipe it with a soft, dry cloth. Because the exact materials are not confirmed, avoid soaking it or applying chemical cleaners or abrasive polishing products. Ask A Retro Tale or Hermès for material-specific advice before attempting a deeper clean.

Q: How should I store the necklace?
A: Store it separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery box, away from humidity and intense heat. Keep it from rubbing against other jewellery to help prevent additional scratches, and lay it flat without forcing or twisting the links.
