HermèsFusion GM Lacquer Wood Hoop Earrings

Q: Are these Hermès Fusion earrings authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is rigorously vetted by our in‑house experts and sold with our authenticity commitment. Shop with confidence.

Q: What materials are they made from?
A: These earrings are crafted from lacquered wood with silver‑tone hardware. The “Fusion” collection is renowned for its artisanal lacquer technique, often creating a glossy, gradient or blended colour effect on the natural wood base.

Q: What size are they?
A: This is the GM (Grand Modèle) size, measuring approximately 5.5 cm in height and width with a depth of 2 cm. They are designed to be a statement pair.

Q: Are they heavy to wear?
A: Despite their substantial GM size, the wooden construction makes them surprisingly lightweight and comfortable for all‑day wear compared to solid metal earrings.

Q: How do they fasten?
A: They feature a post‑back closure secured with a butterfly backing, suitable for pierced ears. Please refer to the photos to see the exact backing style on this pair.

Q: How should I care for lacquered wood jewellery?
A: Wood is a natural material that can warp if exposed to moisture. Keep the earrings dry and avoid wearing them in the shower or swimming. Apply perfume and hairspray before putting them on to protect the lacquer finish, and store them separately to prevent scratching.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: These earrings are in Very Good Condition (Condition Code: 353326). This means they have been well‑cared for but may show light signs of vintage wear. Please review the high‑resolution images to assess their exact condition.

Q: Do they come with the original box?
A: No, this listing includes the earrings only; no accessories (such as a box or dust bag) are included.

Q: Can I return them if they don’t suit me?
A: Yes—returns are accepted in line with our policy. Please see our Returns page for eligibility and timeframes, and ensure the item is returned in the same condition received.
