Q: Which model is this watch, and what year is it?
A: This is the Swiss-made IWC Big Pilot’s Watch 43 TOP GUN, reference IW329801. The year recorded in the product information is 2025.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: This pre-owned watch is listed in Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, the internal condition is rated Very Good, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: The product information lists a full set, a box, an outer box and an extra rubber strap. Please contact A Retro Tale if you need confirmation of the individual documents included in the full set.

Q: What size is this watch, and will it suit my wrist?
A: The case diameter is listed as 43 mm in the product information. Fit depends on your wrist shape, strap adjustment and preference for larger watches, rather than diameter alone. If you are unsure, trying on a comparable Big Pilot’s Watch 43 can help you judge its proportions.

Q: What is the case made from, and is it scratch-resistant?
A: This reference has a black ceramic case with a titanium crown and caseback. IWC describes the ceramic as highly scratch-resistant, but this does not mean the entire watch is scratch-proof. The condition of this particular piece remains as described in the product information.

Q: Is this an automatic watch, and how long is its power reserve?
A: Yes. It uses the IWC-manufactured 82100 automatic movement with Pellaton winding. Its specified power reserve is approximately 60 hours when fully wound; this is a model specification rather than a measured result for this pre-owned watch.

Q: Does this model have a date display or chronograph?
A: No. This reference displays hours, minutes and central seconds, without a date window or chronograph. Its uncluttered dial keeps the focus on reading the time.

Q: Can I change the strap?
A: This reference features IWC’s EasX-CHANGE system for tool-free changes with compatible straps, and its specified strap width is 21 mm. An extra rubber strap is listed in the product information. Check compatibility with IW329801 before purchasing any replacement strap.

Q: Is this watch water-resistant?
A: IWC specifies a water-resistance rating of 10 bar for this reference. However, the supplied product information does not confirm a recent pressure test for this particular watch. Have its water resistance checked before swimming or immersing it, and ensure the screw-in crown is properly secured.
