LoeweAnagram Suede Travel Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Loewe Anagram Suede Travel Bag?
A: With measurements of approximately 46 x 35 x 11 cm, this large travel bag is well suited to weekend essentials such as clothing, a toiletry pouch, chargers, a book, and other daily or overnight items. It works best as a soft, stylish weekender rather than a highly structured suitcase alternative. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact dimensions.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This piece has both a flat top handle and a detachable leather shoulder strap, giving you the choice of hand carry or shoulder wear. The handle drop is approximately 5 cm and the strap drop is approximately 50 cm.

Q: Is this bag suitable for travel or cabin use?
A: Yes, it is designed in a practical travel-bag silhouette with a zip closure and exterior zipped pockets for easier organisation on the go. Its dimensions may work well for many travel needs, but cabin baggage rules vary by airline, so we always recommend checking your carrier’s size policy before flying.

Q: What features does this bag have?
A: This vintage Loewe bag is crafted in tan suede with brown leather trim and finished with gold-tone hardware. It features flat top handles, a detachable shoulder strap, exterior zipped pockets, a patterned fabric lining, and a zip-top closure.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: The included items are listed in the product information. For this piece, that includes a shoulder strap, padlock, and keys.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: It is graded as good condition overall. The suede exterior shows a stain, with scuffing on the corners, handle, and leather trim. The interior lining has stains, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As this is a vintage item, signs of wear are part of its character.

Q: How should I care for the suede exterior?
A: Suede should be handled gently and kept away from excess moisture, oils, perfume, and rough surfaces. Store the bag individually in a soft dust bag or cloth, avoid overfilling it, and use a suede brush very lightly to lift surface dust. Because this piece already has visible wear and a stain, any deeper cleaning is best left to a professional suede specialist.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: According to the product information, this bag was made in Spain.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Loewe bags?
A: At A Retro Tale, all items are carefully vetted for authenticity by in-house experts. For vintage Loewe pieces, this typically includes assessing craftsmanship, materials, hardware, logo details, and overall consistency with the model and era.

Q: Is this a good everyday bag or better for occasional use?
A: This style is best suited to travel, overnight stays, or days when you want to carry more than usual. Its roomy shape and shoulder strap make it practical, while the suede finish and vintage condition mean many customers will prefer to use it a little more thoughtfully than an all-weather everyday bag.
