LonginesPrimaluna 30mm Full Set 2023 Watch

Q: What are the key specifications of this Longines PrimaLuna?
A: It features a 30 mm stainless‑steel case and bracelet, a cream dial with black Roman numerals, a date display at 3 o’clock, and a scratch‑resistant sapphire crystal. It is powered by a self‑winding automatic movement and is rated to 3 bar (30 metres) of water resistance. Please see the Product information section on this page for the full details.

Q: Is the movement automatic and how long is the power reserve?
A: Yes. The PrimaLuna in this configuration uses a self‑winding automatic movement with an approximate power reserve of up to 45 hours. If the watch has stopped, wind the crown 20–30 turns to start it before wearing.

Q: Can I swim or shower with it?
A: With a 3 bar (30 m) rating, it is suitable for daily splashes and rain but not recommended for swimming, showering, or diving. If the watch is exposed to water regularly, have the seals checked (pressure‑tested) annually.

Q: How do I set the time and date safely?
A: Pull the crown to the first click to set the date and to the second click to set the time. Avoid using the quick‑set date between about 9 pm and 3 am. For safety, set the hands to around 6:30 first, adjust the date, then set the correct time, and push the crown fully back in.

Q: How does the 30 mm case wear and what wrist size will it fit?
A: 30 mm is an elegant, versatile size for many wrists. This bracelet is currently sized to approximately 17 cm and can be adjusted by adding or removing links. We can assist with sizing; most quality jewellers can also size Longines bracelets.

Q: What is included with this watch?
A: This 2023 example is described as a full set and comes with its original box. Everything included is listed under the Product information section; if a specific item isn’t mentioned there, it is not included.

Q: What is the condition?
A: Very Good overall. Expect light traces of use, including surface scratches on the case, case back and bracelet, consistent with careful wear. The movement condition is also noted as very good.

Q: How often should I service it and how should I care for it?
A: A full service every 4–5 years helps maintain accuracy and longevity. If the watch is used around water, request annual water‑resistance checks. For routine care, wipe with a soft cloth and avoid exposure to chemicals, strong magnets, and extreme heat.

Q: Is this watch authentic?
A: Yes. Every item at A Retro Tale is thoroughly authenticated by our in‑house experts using multi‑point checks. We guarantee the authenticity of all pieces we sell and can share additional details upon request.

Q: What are the reference and year for this piece?
A: The reference noted for this example is L8.111.4 and the production year is 2023. The serial number is recorded in the Product information and on the watch itself.
