Q: What are the key details of this Louis Vuitton Essential V Necklace?
A: This vintage necklace features gold-tone hardware, a signature V pendant, a link chain and a lobster clasp closure. Its clean, graphic design makes it an easy everyday statement piece.

Q: What is the necklace length, and where will it sit?
A: The listed perimeter for this piece is 48 cm. On most wearers, that usually places it around the collarbone to upper chest area, depending on individual neck size and styling preference. Please refer to the product information for the best guide to fit.

Q: Is this necklace solid gold?
A: No. The product information describes it as having gold-tone hardware rather than being made from solid gold. It is best understood as fashion jewellery with a gold-coloured finish.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: It is listed in Very Good condition. The finish remains shiny, with light scratches noted on the hardware, which is typical for a carefully used vintage jewellery piece.

Q: Does this item come with a box, pouch or other extras?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with no extra inclusions. Everything included with the necklace should be confirmed through the product information and photos.

Q: Can I wear this necklace every day?
A: You can wear it regularly, but fashion jewellery generally stays looking its best with mindful use. To help preserve the finish, it is best to avoid wearing it in the shower, pool or gym, and to keep it away from perfume, lotions and household cleaning products.

Q: How should I clean and store it?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft dry cloth after wear and store it separately in a dry place to help minimise scratches and dulling. It is also best to apply fragrance and cosmetics before putting the necklace on, rather than after.

Q: Will gold-tone jewellery like this tarnish or scratch over time?
A: Light surface wear can happen over time with most gold-tone fashion jewellery, especially if it is exposed to moisture, heat, chemicals or frequent rubbing. This piece already shows light scratches, which are reflected in the condition description.

Q: Is the Essential V Necklace easy to style?
A: Yes. The slim chain and simple V motif make it easy to wear on its own for a minimal look or pair with other necklaces for a layered effect.
