Q: What typically fits inside the Louis Vuitton Mahina L Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 40 x 31 x 18 cm, this is a roomy everyday shoulder bag. It can generally hold daily essentials such as a wallet, phone, keys, sunglasses case, cosmetics pouch and a small water bottle, with extra space for bulkier items. Please refer to the measurements on this page for the best size guidance.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This Mahina L Bag features dual rolled leather handles with an approximate handle drop of 24 cm, which is typically suitable for shoulder carry as well as hand carry, depending on your frame and outerwear.

Q: What material and finish does this bag have?
A: This piece is crafted from black perforated Mahina leather with gold-tone hardware. Mahina leather is known for its soft, supple feel and its perforated Monogram pattern, which gives the bag a relaxed yet luxurious look.

Q: How is the bag organised inside?
A: The bag has a brown microfiber lining, one internal zip pocket and a push-lock closure. This makes it practical for everyday use while keeping your essentials secure and easy to organise.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: This bag is listed in Very Good condition with light traces of use. The exterior and interior both show light signs of wear, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with the bag?
A: This item includes product information listed as a dust bag. If any additional extras are not listed in the product information, they are not included.

Q: What does the date code TH2097 mean?
A: The date code indicates production in France, and this code format is commonly read as the 29th week of 2007. As with all Louis Vuitton pieces, a date code is one helpful indicator, but authentication should always be based on the item as a whole.

Q: How should I care for vintage Mahina leather?
A: Mahina leather is soft and supple, so gentle care is recommended. Store the bag in a breathable dust bag, lightly filled to help maintain its shape, and keep it away from prolonged sunlight, humidity, oils, alcohol-based products and excess moisture. If it gets wet, blot it gently with a soft, light-coloured cloth rather than rubbing.

Q: Is the Mahina L a good everyday bag?
A: Yes, the Mahina L is widely appreciated as a spacious everyday style thanks to its soft leather, generous size and comfortable shoulder-carry design. Its slouchy silhouette and secure closure make it especially well suited to day-to-day use.
