Louis VuittonMonogram Coin Purse

Q: What typically fits inside this coin purse?
A: With measurements of approximately 12 x 7 x 1 cm, it is best suited to coins, folded notes, a few standard cards and other very small essentials. It is slim enough for a pocket or mini bag, but it is not designed to replace a full-size wallet.

Q: Can I use it for cards as well as coins?
A: Yes. Its slim, zipped format can usually hold a few bank or travel cards alongside coins or folded notes. Because it is a compact vintage piece, it works best when not overfilled.

Q: What is the chain with clasp for?
A: The chain with clasp is useful for attaching keys or clipping the purse inside a larger bag for easier access. It is a practical organiser detail rather than a shoulder or wrist strap.

Q: What materials and details does this piece have?
A: This vintage Louis Vuitton accessory features Monogram canvas, brass hardware, a zip closure and a brown leather lining. The overall look is classic Louis Vuitton: compact, practical and easy to carry daily.

Q: What is the condition of this item?
A: The overall condition is Very Good Condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, while the interior has light traces of use with tarnish, a broken rim and a glue band sticking out. The hardware shows scratches and discolouration.

Q: What is included with the purchase?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with a box and dust bag.

Q: How should I care for vintage Monogram canvas?
A: Wipe the canvas gently with a soft, slightly damp cloth and avoid perfume, oils, alcohol-based sanitisers, harsh cleaners and rough surfaces. Store it in a dry place, ideally in its dust bag or box, and avoid prolonged heat, direct sunlight and humidity.

Q: Can Louis Vuitton repair vintage hardware or zip issues?
A: Louis Vuitton does accept repair requests through its stores and repair services, but all repairs are assessed individually. For a vintage piece, repair availability and approval can vary depending on the item’s age, materials and condition.

Q: Is this an authentic Louis Vuitton item?
A: Every item sold by A Retro Tale is inspected for authenticity before listing. This piece is offered as an authentic pre-owned Louis Vuitton accessory.
