Louis VuittonMonogram Keepall 45 Bandouliére Weekend Bag

Q: What are the measurements of this Louis Vuitton Keepall 45?
A: This bag measures 45 cm wide × 25 cm high × 20 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 10 cm and the strap measurement is 50 cm. These measurements apply to this individual pre-owned piece.

Q: What can I fit inside the Keepall 45?
A: The Keepall 45 is suited to overnight stays or lightly packed weekends, with space for a change of clothes, toiletries and small travel essentials. The amount you can carry depends on how you pack and the bulk of your belongings. Avoid overpacking to preserve the bag's shape.

Q: Can I use this bag as cabin luggage?
A: Louis Vuitton describes the Keepall 45 as cabin-sized. This particular bag measures 45 × 25 × 20 cm, but acceptance depends on your airline's baggage allowance, including size and weight limits. Check your booking's requirements before travelling; cabin-bag suitability does not necessarily mean it qualifies as an under-seat personal item.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: Yes, a shoulder strap is included. The Bandoulière version offers shoulder carrying as well as carrying by the leather handles. The model's strap is removable and adjustable, and this item's listed strap measurement is 50 cm.

Q: Is the Monogram Keepall made entirely from leather?
A: No. This model combines Louis Vuitton Monogram coated canvas with natural cowhide leather trim and handles. The brown Monogram exterior provides the signature patterned finish, while the leather adds contrasting detail.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: The bag is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor scuffs on the corners and light wear on the leather trim. The interior is also rated Very Good and has a light vintage smell. The hardware shows scratches, tarnishing and oxidation.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: The product information lists a shoulder strap, luggage tag, poignet and padlock. The poignet is the small leather keeper that holds the handles together. Keys, a dust bag and a box are not listed, so their inclusion should not be assumed.

Q: Where was this bag made, and can its manufacturing date be identified?
A: The country-of-origin label is France. The serial number is recorded as illegible, so the supplied information does not establish an exact manufacturing date.

Q: How should I clean and store this vintage Keepall?
A: Gently clean the coated canvas with a soft, damp cloth and slightly soapy water, keeping moisture away from the natural leather trim. Avoid oils, alcohol-based products, harsh cleaners and leather lotions on the canvas. If the natural leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free absorbent cloth. Store the bag in a breathable cover in a ventilated place away from direct sunlight and heat, and avoid overpacking.
