Louis VuittonMonogram Lockit Horizontal Bag

Q: What is the Louis Vuitton Monogram Lockit Horizontal made from?
A: This model combines brown Monogram coated canvas with natural cowhide leather handles and a leather base. The patterned body is coated canvas rather than an all-leather construction.

Q: What are the measurements of this bag?
A: This bag measures 38 cm wide, 30 cm high and 13 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 20 cm.

Q: Can I carry the Lockit Horizontal on my shoulder?
A: The bag has two rolled leather handles for hand or arm carrying and may also sit on the shoulder, depending on your build and clothing. Shoulder comfort cannot be guaranteed from the listed handle measurement alone. No separate shoulder strap is included.

Q: What can I fit inside, and will it hold a laptop?
A: Its dimensions offer room for everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, small toiletry pouch and notebook. Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this item. Compare your device and its case with the measurements, allowing for the curved top and zip opening, which reduce usable space.

Q: Does the bag have a secure closure?
A: The Lockit Horizontal has a zip-top closure to keep the main compartment closed. A padlock and keys are not included with this item.

Q: What condition is this particular bag in?
A: This pre-owned bag is rated Very Good Condition. The exterior has watermarks and patina on the leather base, while the interior shows light signs of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition details.

Q: Why has the leather darkened, and can the watermarks be removed?
A: Natural cowhide leather develops a darker, amber-toned patina over time. This bag already has patina and watermarks on its leather base. Removing watermarks is not guaranteed, and aggressive cleaning can alter the finish. Seek specialist advice rather than attempting to scrub or bleach the leather.

Q: How should I clean and care for this bag?
A: Gently wipe the coated canvas with a soft, slightly damp cloth, keeping moisture away from the leather. Avoid alcohol, oils, solvents and household cleaners. If the natural leather gets wet, blot it promptly with a light-coloured, lint-free absorbent cloth. Keep the bag away from prolonged direct sunlight, heat and damp conditions.

Q: Does this bag come with a dust bag, box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are included, as stated in the product information. This means no dust bag, box, separate strap, padlock or keys are supplied with this item.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The supplied product information lists France as this bag's country of origin.
