OmegaDe Ville 22mm 2007 Diamond Watch

Q: What model is this Omega watch?
A: This is the Omega De Ville Prestige reference 4575.71.00 from 2007. It features a 22 mm stainless steel case and bracelet, a diamond-set bezel, and a mother-of-pearl dial with Roman numeral and index hour markers.

Q: What movement does this watch use?
A: This model is powered by Omega calibre 1456, a Swiss quartz movement. Quartz watches are appreciated for their easy wear and dependable day-to-day accuracy, and the battery life for this calibre is typically around 32 months.

Q: Will the 22 mm case suit my wrist?
A: Yes, if you prefer a petite and elegant watch. A 22 mm case wears as a small, jewellery-inspired dress watch rather than a bold oversized style. According to the product information, this bracelet fits a 16 cm wrist or smaller.

Q: Is this watch better for everyday wear or special occasions?
A: It works beautifully as a dress watch, but it can also be worn regularly if you enjoy a refined, understated look. The stainless steel bracelet and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal make it practical, while the diamond bezel and mother-of-pearl dial keep it elegant.

Q: Is the watch water resistant?
A: This model is rated to 3 bar, or 30 metres. In practical terms, it is best treated as suitable for light everyday exposure such as minor splashes, rather than swimming, bathing, or prolonged water contact.

Q: What condition is this watch in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good Condition. The external condition is described as very good with light trace of use, the internal condition is very good, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches.

Q: What is included with the watch?
A: This piece comes with no product information included. If you would like confirmation before purchase, our team can always help clarify what accompanies the watch.

Q: How should I care for this Omega quartz watch?
A: To keep it in excellent order, store it away from strong heat, humidity, and impact when not in use, and have the water resistance checked periodically. Omega also recommends complete servicing every 5 to 8 years, depending on wear and environment.

Q: How will I know when the battery needs replacing?
A: Most modern Omega quartz watches have an end-of-life indicator. When the battery is running low, the seconds hand typically starts moving in 4-second jumps. If that happens, it is best to have the battery replaced promptly to help protect the movement.

Q: How do you authenticate this watch?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is carefully inspected by our in-house experts using detailed checks of materials, construction, finishing, hallmarks, serial details, and overall consistency. We stand behind the authenticity of every piece we sell.
