Saint LaurentTassel Clip-on Earring

Q: Do these earrings require pierced ears?
A: No. This Saint Laurent piece uses a clip-on fastening, so it can be worn without piercings. If you have pierced ears, you can still wear them as clip-ons.

Q: What size are they?
A: This is a long statement style measuring approximately 10 cm in height, 3.5 cm in width, and 0.5 cm in depth. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate guide to scale.

Q: What do the earrings look like?
A: They feature gold-tone hardware with burgundy and red thread tassels, giving them a bold vintage look with movement and colour.

Q: Are clip-on earrings comfortable to wear?
A: Comfort can vary from person to person. Clip-on earrings should feel secure rather than painful, but statement styles may feel snug after long wear if you have sensitive ears.

Q: How can I make clip-on earrings feel more comfortable or secure?
A: Soft silicone clip cushions can help reduce pinching and improve grip. It also helps to place them on clean, dry earlobes and to remove them for short breaks during extended wear if needed.

Q: How should I care for the tassels and hardware?
A: Keep them away from water, perfume, hairspray, and heavy friction. Store them flat or hanging so the tassels do not become crushed or tangled, and wipe the metal parts gently with a soft, dry cloth after wear.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: The earrings are listed in Very Good condition, with light traces of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this item come with any original product information?
A: This listing states that no original product information is included with the item.

Q: How is vintage Saint Laurent jewellery usually authenticated?
A: Vintage Saint Laurent jewellery is typically checked through details such as signatures or hallmarks where present, the quality of the finish, the clip construction, overall workmanship, and consistency with known Saint Laurent design features.
