Tiffany & CoHardWear Small Link Necklace

Q: What is the length of this Tiffany & Co. HardWear Small Link Necklace?
A: This necklace has a perimeter of approximately 44 cm, giving it a classic short necklace fit that typically sits around the collarbone. Fit can vary slightly depending on neck size and styling preference.

Q: What material is this necklace made from?
A: This piece is presented in a silver tone and, as part of Tiffany HardWear, it is associated with sterling silver. Tiffany sterling silver is made to the .925 standard and is known for its bright lustre and sculptural look.

Q: Is the Tiffany HardWear Small Link Necklace suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes. The HardWear collection is designed as a bold yet wearable chain style, and many buyers choose it as an everyday statement necklace. It works well worn on its own or layered with finer chains for contrast.

Q: Does sterling silver tarnish over time?
A: Yes, sterling silver can naturally tarnish with time and exposure to air, moisture, sulphur, lotions and fragrances. This is normal for silver jewellery and can usually be improved with gentle cleaning using a soft polishing cloth suitable for sterling silver.

Q: Can I wear this necklace in the shower or while swimming?
A: It is best to remove the necklace before showering, bathing, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume, lotion or hair products. This helps preserve the finish and reduce unnecessary wear or tarnishing.

Q: Is this necklace comfortable to wear and easy to style?
A: Yes. The small link version offers the recognisable HardWear look in a refined size, making it easier to style from day to evening. Buyers often choose it because it feels substantial enough to make a statement while still being versatile.

Q: Will the links show scratches with wear?
A: Like most polished sterling silver jewellery, light surface scratches can develop through normal use. This particular piece is listed in Very Good condition with light trace of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches noted in the product information.

Q: Can the length be altered or adjusted?
A: Tiffany offers fit alterations for many jewellery pieces, but availability depends on the exact style. As this is a pre-owned item, it is best to buy based on the listed 44 cm length unless you plan to explore alteration options separately after purchase.

Q: What is included with this necklace?
A: This item comes with no accessories. Please refer to the product information for the most accurate overview of what is included with this specific piece.
