Unoaerre18kt Yellow Gold Earrings

Q: What size are these Unoaerre earrings?
A: These earrings measure approximately 1 cm in height and 1 cm in width. They are a compact size that works well for everyday wear while still offering the rich look of 18kt yellow gold. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the exact dimensions.

Q: What material are these earrings made from?
A: They are crafted in 18kt yellow gold. 18kt gold contains a high proportion of pure gold and is prized for its warm colour, fine-jewellery quality and luxurious finish.

Q: Are 18kt gold earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
A: 18kt gold is often a good choice for sensitive ears because of its high gold content. As sensitivity can vary from person to person, we still recommend caution if you have known reactions to alloy metals or pierced-ear irritation.

Q: Can I wear these earrings every day?
A: Yes, 18kt gold earrings are generally suitable for regular wear. That said, fine jewellery can still pick up surface marks over time, so it is best to remove them before sport, heavy lifting or activities that may knock or scratch the metal.

Q: Can I sleep or shower while wearing them?
A: It is generally best to remove earrings before sleeping or showering. Sleeping in earrings can cause discomfort or snagging, and repeated exposure to soap, shampoo, perfume, chlorine or salt water may dull the finish over time.

Q: Will 18kt yellow gold tarnish?
A: 18kt gold is more resistant to oxidation than lower-karat gold alloys, so it should keep its colour very well. However, light scratches, residue and general signs of wear can still develop with use, especially on pre-owned jewellery.

Q: What condition are these earrings in?
A: These earrings are listed in very good condition. According to the product information, they show light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: Do these earrings come with a box or other extras?
A: No, these earrings are listed with no accessories. If a box, pouch or authenticity card is not stated in the product information, it is not included with the item.

Q: How should I clean and store 18kt gold earrings?
A: Wipe them gently with a soft cloth after wear and store them separately to help prevent scratches. For a deeper clean, use lukewarm water with a small amount of mild detergent, then rinse and dry carefully. Avoid harsh chemicals and abrasive materials.

Q: How can I tell Unoaerre jewellery is authentic?
A: Unoaerre is a long-established Italian jewellery house known for fine gold craftsmanship. Authentic pieces are typically identified by appropriate precious-metal markings such as 750 for 18kt gold, and all items sold by A Retro Tale are carefully vetted for authenticity by in-house experts.
