Q: How large are these earrings?
A: These earrings measure approximately 1 x 1 cm, with a depth of around 0.2 cm. The Sweet Alhambra size is known for its delicate, understated look, making it ideal if you prefer fine jewellery with a subtle presence.

Q: Are Sweet Alhambra earrings suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes, many people choose the Sweet Alhambra size for everyday wear because it is light, discreet, and easy to style. That said, mother-of-pearl is a delicate natural material, so it is best to remove them before showering, swimming, exercising, or applying perfume and cosmetics.

Q: Will these earrings feel heavy on the ears?
A: No, this style is generally appreciated for being lightweight and comfortable thanks to its compact size. If you are looking for elegant earrings that do not feel overly bold or cumbersome, this is a popular choice.

Q: What should I know about mother-of-pearl?
A: Mother-of-pearl is prized for its soft glow and elegant appearance. As a natural material, slight variations in tone, lustre, and surface character can occur, which is part of its beauty and individuality.

Q: How should I care for mother-of-pearl earrings?
A: To help preserve their appearance, avoid contact with water, soap, perfume, hairspray, cosmetics, and harsh chemicals. After wear, gently wipe them with a soft, dry cloth and store them separately in a jewellery box or pouch to help prevent scratches.

Q: Can I wear these earrings in the shower or while sleeping?
A: It is not recommended. Moisture, toiletries, heat, and friction can all affect delicate materials over time, especially mother-of-pearl. Removing them before showering, sleeping, or working out will help keep them in the best possible condition.

Q: What condition are these earrings in?
A: They are listed in very good condition, showing light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful pre-owned wear.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This item includes a box. Everything included with the purchase is reflected in the product information; if another accessory is not listed there, it should be assumed not to be included.

Q: Are these a good choice if I want a subtle Van Cleef & Arpels look?
A: Yes, the Sweet Alhambra design is one of the most delicate interpretations of the house’s iconic motif. It offers an elegant, refined look that works beautifully on its own or paired with other fine jewellery.
