Q: What does size 75 mean on this Bottega Veneta belt?
A: Size 75 generally refers to a belt designed for a waist measurement of around 75 cm, usually measured to the centre hole. As fit can vary depending on how high or low you wear your belts, we recommend comparing it with a belt you already own for the best match.

Q: What is Intrecciato leather?
A: Intrecciato is Bottega Veneta’s signature woven leather technique. It gives the belt its distinctive textured look and is one of the house’s most recognisable design codes.

Q: Is this belt suitable for everyday wear?
A: Yes. With a width of approximately 2.8 cm, it has a versatile profile that works well with jeans, trousers, dresses, and tailoring. The metallic gold finish makes it especially good for adding a statement touch while still remaining easy to style.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: This piece is in Very Good condition overall. It shows light traces of use, light creasing to the leather, and light scratches to the hardware, while the hardware remains shiny. As a vintage item, gentle signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no additional product information included.

Q: How should I care for metallic Intrecciato leather?
A: Store it flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place and avoid contact with liquids, oils, perfume, make-up, and rough surfaces. To clean, gently wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid over-conditioning, as woven and metallic-finish leather should be handled with extra care.

Q: Are light creasing and small hardware scratches normal for a pre-owned belt?
A: Yes. On vintage and second-hand leather belts, light creasing around the strap and hairline scratches on the buckle are common signs of careful prior use. This belt’s wear has been assessed as light and consistent with its Very Good condition rating.

Q: How do you authenticate this Bottega Veneta belt?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is checked by experts using a detailed authentication process that considers construction, leather quality, weave, hardware, branding, and overall craftsmanship. We stand behind the authenticity of every item we sell.
