Q: What size is this wallet and what typically fits inside?
A: With approximate measurements of 12 x 10 x 2 cm, this is a compact zip-around wallet suited to cards, folded notes, receipts and other small daily essentials. It is best for neat everyday organisation rather than bulky storage.

Q: Will a phone fit inside?
A: No, this wallet is too compact for most smartphones. It is designed as a small wallet rather than a phone case or mini clutch.

Q: Does the zip-around closure keep everything secure?
A: Yes, the zip-around design helps keep the contents enclosed and secure. It is a practical choice if you prefer your cards and cash to be fully covered rather than open at the sides.

Q: What is Intrecciato?
A: Intrecciato is Bottega Veneta’s signature woven leather technique. It gives the wallet its distinctive textured look while keeping the design understated and timeless.

Q: Is this wallet practical for everyday use?
A: Yes, this style is well suited to everyday use thanks to its compact shape, secure closure and easy-to-carry format. It should slip comfortably into most handbags and larger coat pockets.

Q: Can it hold coins?
A: It can hold a small amount of loose change, but this listing only confirms a leather-lined interior with interior pockets rather than a dedicated coin section. If coin storage is especially important to you, we recommend reviewing the interior images carefully.

Q: What condition is this vintage wallet in?
A: This item is listed in good vintage condition. The exterior and interior both show marks and scratches, while the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. These signs of wear are consistent with pre-owned use.

Q: Does it come with any extra items such as a box or dust bag?
A: No, this item is listed with no extra items included. If something is not mentioned in the product information, it should not be expected to come with the wallet.

Q: How should I care for this wallet?
A: Handle the leather gently and avoid liquids, oils, creams, perfume, direct sunlight, heat and abrasive surfaces. For routine care, wipe it with a soft dry cloth and store it in a cool, dry place when not in use.

Q: How do you check authenticity?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is reviewed for authenticity by specialists who assess details such as materials, construction, weave, hardware and brand markings before it is offered for sale.
