Q: What condition is this Bottega Veneta Rhinestone Silver Necklace in?
A: This vintage, pre-owned necklace is in very good condition, with light marks and scratches throughout the material. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Has this necklace been authenticated?
A: According to the product information, its authenticity has been checked and certified by Kathrine, who has 20 years of experience in vintage and luxury jewellery.

Q: Is the necklace made from sterling silver, and what are the stones?
A: The necklace is described as silver-tone metal with faceted rhinestone embellishments. Its exact metal composition and silver purity are not confirmed, so sterling silver should not be assumed. The rhinestones are not described as diamonds or other precious gemstones.

Q: How long is the necklace, and is it adjustable?
A: The product information records a necklace perimeter of 36, but does not specify the measurement unit or whether it is adjustable. Please contact A Retro Tale to confirm the dimensions and fit before purchasing.

Q: What type of fastening does the necklace have?
A: This necklace has a hook closure.

Q: Where was this necklace made?
A: The product information states that it was made in Italy.

Q: Does the necklace come with a box or pouch?
A: No accessories are included, so this necklace does not come with a box or pouch.

Q: How should I clean this vintage rhinestone necklace?
A: Gently wipe it with a soft, dry, lint-free cloth, taking care not to tug at the embellishments. As the exact metal composition and stone settings are not specified, avoid soaking, abrasive polishes and chemical cleaners. Ask a jewellery specialist for advice if it needs more thorough cleaning.

Q: Can I wear the necklace in the shower or while swimming?
A: It is best to remove it before showering, swimming or exercising. Avoid contact with water, perfume, hairspray, lotions and household cleaners to help protect the finish and embellishments. Put it on after applying beauty products.

Q: How should I store the necklace?
A: Store it separately in a soft pouch or lined jewellery compartment to minimise scratches and tangling. Keep it in a dry place away from direct sunlight and excessive heat, and make sure it is dry before putting it away. A storage pouch is not included with this piece.
