Celine45 Cotton Handkerchief

Q: What size is this handkerchief, and how does it wear?
A: This piece measures approximately 45 x 45 cm. That is a compact square size that works especially well as a neckerchief, hair scarf, bag accent or pocket square, rather than a larger wrap or shawl.

Q: What is it made from?
A: It is made from 100% cotton. Cotton gives it a lightweight, breathable feel with a softer, more casual drape than silk, making it easy to wear through much of the year.

Q: What does the design look like?
A: According to the product information, it features a multi-coloured heraldic print. This gives it a classic vintage Céline look and makes it easy to style with simple tailoring, denim or neutral outerwear.

Q: What condition is it in?
A: The product information states Very Good condition with light trace of use. As this is a vintage item, gentle signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: How can I style a 45 cm cotton handkerchief?
A: Popular ways to wear this size include tied neatly at the neck, worn as a headband, wrapped around a ponytail, knotted onto a handbag handle or folded into a jacket pocket. Its smaller scale makes it ideal for adding colour without overwhelming an outfit.

Q: Is it suitable as a pocket square?
A: Yes. A 45 cm square can be folded neatly into a blazer or coat pocket for a refined accent. The final look will depend on your preferred fold and the depth of the pocket.

Q: How should I care for vintage cotton?
A: Because this is a vintage printed cotton piece, treat it gently. If cleaning is needed, use cool water and a mild detergent, avoid bleach and tumble drying, and let it air dry flat. If you are unsure about colour transfer or the fabric’s age, specialist cleaning is the safest option.

Q: How should I store it when not in use?
A: Store it clean, dry and away from direct sunlight or damp conditions. Laying it flat or folding it carefully in a drawer with tissue can help preserve the fabric and print over time.

Q: Does it come with any extras?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with no additional items included.

Q: How is authenticity handled?
A: A Retro Tale states that its items are authenticated before sale. If you would like added peace of mind, you can always contact customer service for any available supporting details or services connected to authentication.
