CelineKnot Hoop Earrings

Q: What size are these earrings?
A: They measure approximately 2.2 cm high by 2.2 cm wide, with an approximate depth of 0.5 cm. That places them in the small-to-medium hoop category, making them easy to wear from day to evening.

Q: Are they for pierced ears?
A: Yes, Céline Knot hoop styles in this format are typically designed for pierced ears with a post-style fastening. If you would like exact closure confirmation for this pair, please contact us before purchase.

Q: What are they made from?
A: This pair is listed as gold-tone metal. Current Céline Knot Small Hoops are described as brass with a gold finish, so this vintage pair offers a similar polished gold-tone look, although vintage production details can vary slightly between releases.

Q: Are they suitable for sensitive ears?
A: Current Céline Knot hoop styles are described as nickel-free, but this is a vintage pre-owned pair and the original composition is not fully specified in this listing. If you have very sensitive ears, we recommend wearing them for short periods first and avoiding use on irritated piercings.

Q: What condition are they in?
A: They are listed in Very Good Condition. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear on vintage jewellery.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: The product information states that no included extras come with this pair. If a box, pouch or any other item is not listed in the product information, it should be considered unavailable.

Q: How should I care for vintage gold-tone earrings like these?
A: Wipe them gently with a soft dry cloth after wear and store them separately in a dry place to reduce friction. To help preserve the finish, avoid perfume, lotions, hairspray, sea water and other harsh chemicals, and remove them before showering, swimming or exercise.

Q: Will the gold-tone finish stay perfect over time?
A: As with most fashion jewellery, the finish can gradually show surface wear with age and repeated contact with moisture, skincare and friction. This pair already has light surface scratches, so gentle handling and careful storage will help maintain its appearance.

Q: How do you authenticate vintage Céline jewellery?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is checked by specialists using material, construction, finish, signature and overall consistency checks. We only offer pieces we believe to be authentic, and we are always happy to answer further questions about the item before purchase.
