Q: What size is this Chanel CC Caviar Weekend Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 48 cm wide, 25 cm high and 18 cm deep, with a handle drop of around 13 cm. It is a roomy weekend-style bag with enough space for daily essentials, travel items or an overnight change of clothes.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: With its generous weekend-bag shape, it can usually hold items such as a wallet, phone, pouch, water bottle, cosmetics case, a light knit and other larger essentials. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for the most accurate sense of scale.

Q: Is caviar leather a practical choice for everyday use?
A: Yes. Chanel caviar leather is known for its grained texture, structured feel and good durability compared with smoother leathers. It is generally better at disguising light wear and minor scratches, which is one reason it is so popular for regular use and travel.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No shoulder strap is listed in the product information. This piece is intended to be carried by hand using the top handles.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: This bag includes an authenticity card and a serial number tag. Everything included with the item is shown in the product information.

Q: What does the serial number tell me?
A: This bag has serial number 6214591. Chanel bags with 7-digit serial numbers belong to the earlier sticker era, which places this piece within Chanel’s vintage production period. As with all Chanel bags, the serial number should be considered one part of the overall authenticity assessment rather than the only factor.

Q: What is the condition of this bag?
A: The overall condition is Good Condition. The exterior shows scuffing on the corners and scratches on the handles and leather. The interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: How should I care for this Chanel caviar bag?
A: To help preserve its shape and finish, avoid overfilling the bag, keep it away from prolonged moisture, heat and direct sunlight, and wipe it gently with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth when needed. When not in use, store it carefully and lightly stuffed to help maintain its structure.

Q: Is this a vintage Chanel bag made in France?
A: Yes. The country of origin listed for this piece is France, and the serial-number format confirms that it belongs to Chanel’s vintage era rather than the newer microchip era.

Q: Is the beige colour easy to style?
A: Yes. Beige is one of the most versatile shades for a Chanel bag, pairing easily with both light and dark wardrobes across seasons. It offers a softer alternative to black while still feeling classic and timeless.
