Q: What are the dimensions of this Chanel CC Chain Tote Bag?
A: The bag measures approximately 40 cm wide × 30 cm high × 10 cm deep. The listed strap measurement is 30 cm.

Q: What can I fit inside this tote?
A: Its dimensions suggest room for everyday essentials such as a purse, phone, keys, a small cosmetics pouch and a notebook. Usable capacity depends on the interior layout and how you pack; avoid overloading the bag to help preserve its shape.

Q: Will this bag fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this specific item. Compare your laptop and its sleeve with the bag’s external dimensions of 40 × 30 × 10 cm, allowing for a smaller usable interior and any restrictions at the opening. Contact us for confirmation before purchasing it specifically for laptop use.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior has rubbing on the corners and edges, with light creasing on the leather. The interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware is shiny with light scratches. It is not described as being in pristine or like-new condition.

Q: What colour and material is the bag?
A: The bag is black, and the condition description confirms leather. The specific leather type is not stated in the product information, so it should not be assumed to be lambskin or caviar leather.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: The product information lists a serial number tag. A box, dust bag and authenticity card are not listed as included; please contact us if you need confirmation of any additional items.

Q: Is the serial number readable, and can the bag be dated?
A: The serial number is recorded as illegible, although a serial number tag is listed in the product information. A production year cannot be established from the supplied serial number details.

Q: Where was this Chanel tote made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France.

Q: How does A Retro Tale authenticate its bags?
A: A Retro Tale states that its bags are checked by trained experts with specialist brand knowledge and are sold with an authenticity guarantee. If you would like more information about the checks for this particular item, please contact us before purchasing.

Q: How should I care for and store this leather chain tote?
A: Chanel recommends using a soft cloth and avoiding care products that could alter the leather’s finish. Protect the bag from prolonged sunlight and moisture; if it gets wet, gently blot it with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Store it upright in a breathable protective pouch, wrap the chains in tissue paper and avoid overfilling it to help maintain its shape.
