Q: What size is this Chanel Classic Maxi Single Flap Bag?
A: This bag measures approximately 34 cm wide × 22 cm high × 10 cm deep. Use these item-specific measurements when comparing it with other Chanel bags, as dimensions can vary between models and production periods.

Q: What can I fit inside this bag?
A: Based on its dimensions, it should accommodate everyday essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses and a small cosmetics pouch. The exact capacity depends on the size of your belongings; avoid overfilling the bag to help preserve its shape.

Q: Can this bag fit a laptop?
A: Laptop fit has not been confirmed for this item. The exterior measurements do not represent the usable interior space or opening, so compare your device’s dimensions carefully and contact us for confirmation before buying it as a laptop bag.

Q: What does single flap mean?
A: A single-flap bag has one main outer flap, without the additional interior flap found on a double-flap design. This provides more direct access to the main compartment. This particular bag is listed as a Classic Maxi Single Flap.

Q: Can I wear this bag crossbody?
A: This model is listed as a shoulder bag, with strap measurements of approximately 34/62 cm. Crossbody suitability depends on your height, build and preferred position. If crossbody wear is important to you, contact us to confirm how these measurements translate into the bag’s fit.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: The product information dates this bag to approximately 1994–1996, with a partially concealed serial number beginning with 3. Its listed country of origin is France.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: It is graded Very Good Condition. The exterior has scuffing on the corners, the interior has light cracks, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. Please review the product photographs alongside these condition notes before purchasing.

Q: What comes with this bag?
A: The product information lists a damaged serial number tag and an authenticity card. A box and dust bag are not listed, so please do not assume they are included.

Q: Is this bag black, and what material is it made from?
A: The listed product colour is black. The material is not specified in the supplied product information, so we cannot confirm whether it is lambskin, caviar leather or another material. Contact us if the material is an important part of your decision.

Q: How should I care for and store this vintage Chanel bag?
A: Chanel recommends using a soft cloth, avoiding cleaning products that could alter the finish, and protecting bags from prolonged sunlight and humidity. If it gets wet, gently blot it with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth. Store it upright in a suitable protective pouch and wrap the chain or strap in tissue paper to prevent marks. Given the noted interior cracks, seek specialist advice before applying any treatment.
