Q: Are the pearls genuine, and is the necklace made from solid gold?
A: The product information does not confirm the pearl type or metal composition. The listed gold colour should not be taken as confirmation of solid gold. Please contact A Retro Tale if you need clarification on the materials before purchasing.

A: Yes, a box is included according to the product information. No additional accompanying items are listed.

Q: Where was this necklace made?
A: The country of origin is listed as France.

Q: How should I clean this necklace?
A: Handle it gently and use a soft, dry cloth, taking particular care around the peeling pearls. Avoid rubbing damaged areas or using water, soap, detergents or chemical cleaners. CHANEL recommends gentle cloth care for its costume jewellery.

Q: Can I wear this necklace in the shower or while swimming?
A: Avoid wearing it in the shower or while swimming. CHANEL advises keeping costume jewellery away from water and humidity. Apply perfume and cosmetics before putting it on, and gently dab it dry with an absorbent, non-pilling cloth if it gets wet.

Q: How should I store this long pearl necklace?
A: Store it separately from other jewellery to minimise scratches and tangling, preferably in a soft pouch within the included box. Keep it away from moisture, prolonged sunlight and heat, and avoid pulling or placing pressure on the pearls.

Q: Can the peeling pearls be repaired?
A: Repair options for this particular necklace have not been confirmed. Avoid attempting to remove the peeling surface or applying household coatings. Ask a CHANEL boutique or a specialist in vintage costume jewellery to assess it; repair availability and costs would need to be confirmed individually.
