ChanelMedium Double Flap Bag

Q: What does double flap mean?
A: Double flap refers to the bag’s two-flap construction: an outer flap secured by the CC turn-lock and a second inner flap covering the main compartment.

Q: What size is this Chanel Medium Double Flap Bag?
A: This medium model measures 25.5 cm wide, 16 cm high and 6 cm deep. The listed handle measurement is 26 cm and the strap measurement is 52 cm. These are not explicitly identified as drop measurements.

Q: What typically fits inside this bag?
A: A medium double flap generally accommodates everyday essentials such as a phone, a compact wallet or cardholder, keys and lipstick. The inner flap takes up some space, so the fit depends on the size of your belongings. Avoid overfilling the bag or forcing the closure.

Q: Can this bag be worn crossbody?
A: The chain-link and leather strap is suitable for shoulder wear. Crossbody wear may work for some wearers, but comfort depends on your height, torso length and preferred carrying position. Although the strap measurement is listed as 52 cm, its measurement method is not specified, so a comfortable crossbody fit cannot be guaranteed.

Q: What material and colour is this bag?
A: This bag is made from beige quilted lambskin leather, with beige leather lining and gold-tone hardware. It has internal slip pockets and an exterior back slip pocket. No specific Chanel shade name is provided.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: This bag is in Very Good Condition. The exterior has minor rubbing on the corners and edges, the interior shows light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: When and where was this bag made?
A: The product information dates the masked serial number, 10******, to 2005–2006. The bag is listed as made in France.

Q: What is included with this bag?
A: The product information lists a box, dust bag and serial number tag. An authenticity card is not listed among the included items.

Q: How can I protect the beige leather from dye transfer?
A: Avoid prolonged contact with dark clothing or fabrics that may release dye, particularly dark denim. Chanel advises keeping light and dark colours from prolonged contact to minimise colour bleeding. If staining occurs, seek specialist advice rather than attempting to remove it with harsh cleaning products.

Q: How should I care for and store this lambskin bag?
A: Handle the leather gently and use a soft cloth for light surface care. Avoid products that could alter its finish, overfilling, and prolonged exposure to sunlight or moisture. If it gets wet, carefully blot it with a soft, absorbent, lint-free cloth. Store it upright in its dust bag, with tissue paper protecting the straps and chain. Seek specialist advice before applying cleaners or conditioners.
