Q: What does size 85 mean, and who is it likely to fit?
A: Size 85 usually refers to the measurement to the middle hole rather than the full end-to-end length. In practice, it generally suits around an 80 cm waist, though some people prefer this size slightly lower on the hips. The best way to check is to measure from the buckle pin to the hole you use most on a belt that already fits you well.

Q: How wide is this belt?
A: This belt is approximately 2 cm wide, giving it a slim and refined look that works well with dresses, skirts, tailored trousers and jeans.

Q: Is the size adjustable?
A: Yes. It has a classic peg-in-hole closure, so you can adjust it within the range of its existing holes. It is not a cut-to-fit style, so the final fit depends on how the current holes align with your waist or hips.

Q: What are the key design details of this Dior belt?
A: This piece is crafted in black leather and finished with gold-tone hardware and a CD logo buckle. The slim width and signature buckle give it an elegant vintage Dior look.

Q: What condition is this belt in?
A: The belt is listed in very good vintage condition with light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light surface scratches, which is typical gentle wear for a pre-owned piece.

Q: What is included with the belt?
A: No additional items are included with this piece. Please refer to the product information section for what is supplied with your purchase.

Q: How should I care for vintage leather and the gold-tone buckle?
A: Wipe the leather gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid harsh cleaners, heavy rubbing, rain, prolonged sunlight and direct heat. Store the belt flat or loosely rolled in a cool, dry place, and avoid fastening it too tightly in the same hole every time. The metal buckle can be polished lightly with a soft cloth.

Q: How do you authenticate this Dior belt?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is reviewed by experts using checks such as materials, construction, hardware, logo details and overall craftsmanship. If you would like more product information before purchasing, you are welcome to get in touch.
