Q: What fits inside this Christian Dior Trotter Messenger Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 34 x 27 x 10 cm, this bag is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, wallet, keys, sunglasses, a notebook and small cosmetics pouch. It offers a practical everyday size, but we recommend checking the measurements on this page if you plan to carry bulkier items.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder or crossbody?
A: It features a single adjustable shoulder strap with an approximate drop of 47 cm. Depending on your height and preferred styling, it may sit comfortably on the shoulder and can also work as a crossbody for some wearers.

Q: What material and finish does this bag have?
A: This vintage piece is crafted in pink Trotter canvas with silver-tone hardware and a pink fabric lining. It has a top zip closure and a classic messenger-style silhouette.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The bag is listed in very good condition. The exterior shows light traces of use, including slight discolouration on the side and flap near the zip, while the interior also shows light wear. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Does this bag come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this item comes with no included extras.

Q: Where was this bag made?
A: The country of origin listed for this piece is Italy.

Q: Is there a serial number or date code shown for this bag?
A: No serial number is provided in the product information for this item. On vintage Dior pieces, code placement and format can vary, so buyers often rely on the overall construction, materials, logo details and trusted authentication rather than a code alone.

Q: How should I care for vintage Dior Trotter canvas?
A: For routine care, gently wipe the canvas with a soft dry or slightly damp cloth and avoid rubbing too hard. Keep the bag away from excess moisture, strong heat and prolonged direct sunlight, and avoid overfilling it to help preserve the shape. For stains or more delicate cleaning, professional care is the safest option.

Q: Is this an authentic vintage Dior bag?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authenticated luxury vintage accessories, and this bag has been vetted before listing. As with many vintage Dior styles, authenticity is typically assessed through a combination of materials, logo execution, stitching, hardware and overall construction.

Q: Is this a good everyday vintage bag?
A: Yes, this style is well suited to everyday use if you want a lightweight vintage designer shoulder bag with a practical zip-top design. The adjustable strap, fabric-lined interior and roomy rectangular shape make it a versatile choice for daily essentials.
