Q: Do these Christian Lacroix earrings require pierced ears?
A: No. Their clip-on fastening attaches to the earlobe without requiring a piercing.

Q: Are these earrings solid gold?
A: The product information describes them as gold-tone metal, not solid gold. The precise metal composition and any gold plating are not specified.

Q: What is the red embellishment made from?
A: These earrings feature a red cabochon embellishment, but its material is not specified in the product information. It should not be assumed to be a natural gemstone.

Q: What condition are these earrings in?
A: These vintage, pre-owned earrings are in very good condition, with light marks and scratches throughout the material. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: Where were these earrings made?
A: The country of origin is listed as Italy.

Q: Are clip-on earrings comfortable for longer wear?
A: Comfort varies according to the fit, clip pressure and earring weight. All-day comfort cannot be guaranteed for this pair. Try wearing them for a short period initially and remove them if they pinch or feel uncomfortable.

Q: How can I help prevent these clip-on earrings from slipping?
A: Position them carefully on your earlobes and check that the clips are closed securely before wearing them. Avoid catching them on clothing or hair. If a clip feels loose or too tight, ask a jeweller to assess it rather than bending the vintage mechanism yourself.

Q: Are these earrings suitable for sensitive ears?
A: The precise metal composition and nickel content are not specified, so this pair cannot be confirmed as hypoallergenic or nickel-free. If you have a known metal sensitivity, ask for further material information before purchasing.

Q: How should I clean and store these earrings?
A: Gently wipe them with a soft, dry, non-abrasive cloth after wearing. Avoid soaking them or exposing them to perfume, hairspray and household cleaning products. Store them separately in a soft-lined compartment in a cool, dry place to help prevent further scratches.

Q: Do these earrings come with a box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are included, as stated in the product information.
