Q: What size is this Damiani necklace?
A: The chain length is approximately 48 cm, and the cross pendant measures about 3 cm in height and 2 cm in width. This gives it a noticeable look while still being easy to wear day to day.

Q: Where will a 48 cm necklace typically sit?
A: On most people, a 48 cm necklace sits around the lower neckline or just below the collarbone, depending on neck size and styling preference. The cross pendant will usually sit neatly at the centre of the chest.

Q: Is this a cross pendant design?
A: Yes. Based on the listed measurements and the Damiani Metropolitan style, this necklace features a cross-shaped pendant with a modern, minimalist look.

Q: What materials are used in this necklace?
A: According to the product name, this piece is made in silver and set with black diamonds. The black diamonds give the pendant a darker, more contemporary contrast than traditional white diamond jewellery.

Q: Can black diamond jewellery be worn regularly?
A: Yes, black diamonds are real diamonds and are suitable for regular wear. As with any fine jewellery, it is still best to avoid knocks, harsh chemicals and rough handling to help preserve both the stones and the silver finish.

Q: Will a silver necklace tarnish over time?
A: Silver can naturally tarnish with exposure to air, moisture, perfume, lotion and other everyday substances. Light polishing with a soft jewellery cloth and careful storage in a dry place will help keep it looking its best.

Q: How should I care for this Damiani necklace?
A: Clean it gently with a soft, dry or slightly damp cloth, and store it separately to help avoid scratches. It is best to remove it before swimming, showering, exercising or applying perfumes and beauty products. For deeper cleaning, professional jewellery care is recommended.

Q: What condition is this necklace in?
A: This piece is listed in Very Good condition, with light traces of use. The hardware is described as shiny with light scratches, which is consistent with careful previous wear.

Q: Does this item come with anything extra?
A: According to the product information, this item comes with no additional items included. If original packaging or certificates are not listed in the product information, they are not included with this piece.

Q: Is this an authentic Damiani item?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale specialises in authenticated luxury vintage and second-hand accessories, and this necklace is presented and sold as an authentic Damiani piece.
