FendiZucca Baguette Wool Bag

Q: What typically fits inside this Fendi Zucca Baguette Wool Bag?
A: With approximate dimensions of 25 x 15 x 5 cm, this bag is best suited to daily essentials such as a phone, cardholder, keys, lipstick, and other small items. It has a slim baguette shape, so bulkier purses or larger accessories may not fit comfortably. Please refer to the measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: What material is this bag made from?
A: This piece is crafted in grey Zucca wool with black leather trim. It is finished with silver-tone hardware and a black leather lining, giving it the soft texture of wool with the structure and durability of leather details.

Q: How is this bag carried?
A: This bag features a single adjustable leather shoulder strap. It is designed primarily to be worn on the shoulder in the classic Baguette style.

Q: Does the bag have any interior pockets or compartments?
A: Yes. The interior is lined in black leather and includes one internal zipped pocket for organising smaller essentials such as cards, keys, or receipts.

Q: How does the bag close?
A: It has a magnetic flap closure, which keeps the silhouette clean and makes the bag easy to open and close during everyday use.

Q: What condition is this bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior shows light traces of use, the interior is also in Very Good condition, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches. As this is a vintage item, gentle signs of wear are normal and part of its character.

Q: Does this item come with any extras?
A: No. According to the product information, this bag comes with no accessories.

Q: Is this an authentic vintage Fendi Baguette?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale specialises in authentic luxury vintage accessories, and every item is carefully vetted before sale. This piece is a vintage Fendi Baguette made in Italy, one of the house’s most iconic shoulder bag styles.

Q: How should I care for a vintage wool and leather bag like this?
A: We recommend gentle handling. Avoid heavy rain, prolonged direct sunlight, and rough surfaces that may rub the wool or leather trim. Store the bag in a breathable dust bag or clean cotton cover, lightly stuffed to help maintain its shape, and keep it away from humidity and heat. For surface dust, use a soft dry cloth very gently rather than harsh cleaning products.

Q: Why is the Fendi Baguette considered such an iconic style?
A: The Baguette is one of Fendi’s signature bag designs and is especially loved for its compact under-arm shape and instantly recognisable FF motif. Vintage Zucca examples like this one are particularly sought after because they combine the house’s classic monogram look with a timeless early-2000s silhouette.
