Q: What fits inside this Gucci Guccissima Piston Tote Bag?

It can also accommodate larger items like a tablet or some compact work essentials, depending on how you organise the interior. Please refer to the Measurements on this page for exact sizing.

Q: Can this bag be carried on the shoulder?
A: This model features dual top handles with an approximate handle drop of 14 cm. Depending on your frame and outerwear, it may sit close to the shoulder, but it is primarily designed as a top-handle tote rather than a long shoulder bag.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: No detachable shoulder strap is listed in the product information. This piece is designed with dual top handles only.

Q: What are the main features of this bag?
A: This vintage Gucci tote is crafted in ivory Guccissima leather with gold-tone hardware. It features dual top handles, brown textile lining, an interior zip pocket and a piston lock closure.

Q: What condition is the bag in?
A: The overall condition is rated Very Good. The exterior shows minor stains on the leather strap along with some small but visible marks and scuffs. The interior has light traces of use, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: This bag includes a dust bag. If an authenticity card, box, strap or any other extras are not listed in the product information, they are not included with this item.

Q: How should I care for Guccissima leather?
A: To help preserve the leather, avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, heat and rain. If the bag gets wet, dry it promptly with a soft cloth. When not in use, store it in a dust bag and lightly fill it to help maintain its shape. Avoid overloading the bag, as heavy contents can affect the structure over time.

Q: Is this bag suitable for everyday use?
A: Yes, this style works well as an everyday tote thanks to its roomy shape, secure closure and practical interior pocket. As it is a vintage piece in very good pre-owned condition, we recommend mindful use to help preserve the leather and hardware.

Q: Is this an authentic Gucci bag?
A: A Retro Tale specialises in authenticated luxury vintage pieces, and every item is vetted before sale. As with many pre-owned designer bags, buyers often ask about authenticity, and this bag is sold as an authentic Gucci item.

Q: Is a serial number included?
