Hermès2000s Swift Api II Triple Wrap Bracelet

Q: What is the design of this Hermès Api II Triple Wrap Bracelet?
A: This is a vintage Hermès bracelet from the 2000s, crafted in camel-brown Swift leather with silver-tone hardware. It is designed to wrap around the wrist three times for a slim, layered look and fastens with a peg-in-hole closure.

Q: What size is this bracelet, and how can I judge the fit?
A: The stated bracelet perimeter is approximately 19.7 cm, and the width is approximately 1 cm. For the best idea of fit, compare these measurements with a bracelet you already wear comfortably. With leather wrap styles, many buyers prefer a secure fit rather than a loose one, as leather can relax slightly with wear.

Q: Is the fit adjustable?
A: Yes. The peg-in-hole closure offers adjustability within the existing holes. This particular piece shows sign of wear at the hole, which is noted in the condition details and is consistent with previous use.

Q: What is Swift leather like?
A: Swift calfskin is known for its almost smooth surface, delicate sheen and supple feel. It tends to become softer over time. Because it is a relatively smooth leather, small marks may be more visible than on heavily grained leathers.

Q: Can I wear this bracelet every day?
A: It can work well for gentle everyday wear, but it should be treated as a leather fashion bracelet rather than a water-resistant piece. It is best removed before showering, swimming, exercise, gardening, or household tasks to help preserve both the leather and the hardware.

Q: How should I care for the leather and hardware?
A: Keep it away from water, perfume, lotions, ink, direct sunlight, intense heat and excess humidity. If it gets damp, dry it gently with a soft cloth. When not in use, store it separately in a dry place so the leather is protected and the metal does not pick up unnecessary scratches.

Q: What condition is this item in?
A: It is listed in good condition. The leather shows sign of wear at the hole, and the hardware is still shiny with light scratches. For the best understanding of its current appearance, please review the product photos and product information carefully.

Q: Does this bracelet come with any extras?
A: Everything included with the item is stated in the product information. For this bracelet, no additional items are included.

Q: How do you authenticate this Hermès bracelet?
A: Every item at A Retro Tale is checked for authenticity by in-house experts before it is listed for sale. For vintage Hermès pieces, this typically involves reviewing materials, construction, hardware, stamps and overall craftsmanship.
