Q: How should I care for a vintage Hermès metal charm?
A: Wipe it gently with a soft, dry cloth after use and avoid harsh cleaners, water exposure, perfumes, or prolonged humidity. To help preserve the finish, store it separately from harder metal objects so it does not pick up additional scratches.

Q: Is this kind of Hermès charm collectible?
A: Yes. Hermès cadenas are widely appreciated by collectors because annual and themed designs are often sought after on the secondary market. Theme-based examples like Année De La Fantaisie are especially popular with buyers who enjoy vintage Hermès accessories.

Q: How do you verify authenticity for a Hermès charm like this?
A: At A Retro Tale, pre-owned luxury pieces are carefully vetted before sale. For vintage Hermès accessories, authenticity is typically assessed through overall construction, finish, engraving details, design consistency, and comparison with known authentic examples.
