HermèsClemence Trim 31 Bag

Q: What typically fits inside the Hermès Clemence Trim 31 Bag?
A: With approximate measurements of 31 x 22 x 9 cm, it is well suited to daily essentials such as a phone, long wallet, keys, sunglasses, a cosmetics pouch and a small notebook. It is best for everyday carry rather than larger items, so we recommend checking the measurements on this page if you plan to carry anything bulkier.

Q: Can this bag be worn on the shoulder?
A: Yes. This style features a single adjustable shoulder strap and is designed to sit neatly on the shoulder. The listed strap measurement is 30 cm.

Q: Can it be worn crossbody?
A: This Trim 31 is generally intended as a shoulder bag rather than a crossbody style. If crossbody wear is essential for you, we recommend comparing the listed strap measurement with your preferred fit before purchasing.

Q: What is Clemence leather like?
A: Clemence leather is known for its soft, supple feel and natural grain, which gives the bag a relaxed, understated look. It is a popular Hermès leather for everyday use, but vintage pieces should still be handled with care to preserve the shape and finish.

Q: How secure is the closure?
A: This bag has a top zip and clasp closure, helping keep your belongings more secure while maintaining the clean Trim silhouette.

Q: What condition is this vintage bag in?
A: The overall condition is listed as good. The exterior shows visible wear and cracking on the leather edges and strap, the interior has light traces of use and stains, and the hardware remains shiny with light scratches and some tarnished spots.

Q: What is included with this item?
A: According to the product information, this listing comes with no additional items included.

Q: How should I care for a vintage Hermès Clemence bag?
A: Store it in a dry place away from direct sunlight, heat and moisture, and avoid overfilling it so the shape stays intact. Use a soft cloth for gentle surface care, and if the leather gets wet, dab it dry promptly. Because this example already shows edge wear, cracking and interior staining, any deeper cleaning or restoration is best left to a leather specialist.

Q: Is this bag authenticated?
A: Yes. A Retro Tale states that its items are vetted by in-house experts, and this piece is listed as a Hermès vintage bag with France noted as the country of origin.
