Q: What material and colour is this Hermès Vanity Intercity 28?
A: This bag is made from Clemence leather in black and was manufactured in France.

Q: What are the dimensions of this bag?
A: It measures 28 cm wide, 22 cm high and 22 cm deep, with a handle measurement of 5 cm. These are the measurements for this specific piece.

Q: What can I use the Vanity Intercity 28 for?
A: As a vanity case, it is suited to organising cosmetics, toiletries and small personal essentials at home or while travelling. The included compartment pouches help separate your belongings. What fits depends on the size and shape of your items; compare them with the listed dimensions and avoid overpacking.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned bag in?
A: It is in very good condition overall. The exterior has light traces of use and slight rubbing on the leather, while the interior shows light traces of use. The hardware remains shiny with light scratches.

Q: What does the Square E stamp mean?
A: The E within a square is the Hermès date stamp identifying this piece as having been made in 2001. A date stamp alone is not proof of authenticity.

Q: What accessories are included?
A: The product information lists a padlock and compartment pouches. A key, dust bag or box is not listed, so please do not assume these are included.

Q: Does this bag come with a shoulder strap?
A: A shoulder strap is not listed in the product information. If shoulder carrying is important to you, please ask for confirmation before purchasing rather than assuming a strap is supplied.

Q: Is Clemence leather waterproof, and can I pack liquids inside?
A: Do not treat this leather vanity case as waterproof or leakproof. Hermès advises protecting leather from water, oils, perfume and cosmetics. Pack liquids in securely closed containers within a separate leakproof pouch. If water touches the leather, wipe it promptly with a soft, lint-free cloth.

Q: How should I clean and store this vintage Hermès bag?
A: Gently remove surface dust with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid commercial leather-care products and seek advice from Hermès after-sales service for cleaning or stains. Store it in a dry, temperate place away from sunlight and heat, ideally in a suitable dust cover. Lightly fill it with tissue paper to support its shape, without stretching or overloading it.
