Q: What does size 80 mean for this Hermès belt?
A: Hermès belt sizes are measured in centimetres. Size 80 refers to approximately 80 cm from the buckle end to the middle fastening hole, not the belt’s total length. For the best fit, measure a belt you already wear from its buckle to the hole you use most.

Q: How wide is the belt?
A: This belt measures approximately 2.3 cm wide. Its slim profile works well through narrower belt loops or worn at the waist over a dress or jacket.

Q: Is this belt reversible?
A: Yes. The strap is designed to be worn with either side facing out, giving you two styling options.

Q: What colours are the two sides?
A: The product information identifies black as a colour of this belt but does not specify the reverse-side colour. Please check the product photographs or ask us to confirm it before purchasing.

Q: What condition is this pre-owned belt in?
A: It is in excellent condition with light traces of use on both sides. The hardware remains shiny and has very light scratches.

Q: What does the Y stamp mean?
A: The recorded stamp is Y, corresponding to 2020 in the product information. It identifies the piece’s stated production year, rather than indicating that it is new or unworn.

Q: What comes with the belt?
A: A box is included. Please refer to the product information for the included accessories; a dust bag or other extras should not be assumed unless listed there.

Q: How should I care for the belt?
A: Keep it away from prolonged sunlight, heat, water and products such as perfume. If it gets wet, gently blot it with a soft cloth. Store it in a dry place away from light, and avoid applying leather treatments without specialist advice.

Q: Can I wear this belt at the waist or hips?
A: You can wear it wherever the size fits comfortably. Measure around the point where you intend to wear it and compare that measurement with the size 80 fitting guide; the fit may differ between your waist and hips.
