Q: Will this headband fit me comfortably?
A: No labelled size or head-circumference measurement is provided, so a universal fit cannot be guaranteed. Contact A Retro Tale if you need further sizing details before purchasing. When wearing it, it should feel secure without uncomfortable pressure; do not force or overstretch it.

Q: How can I style this Hermès silk headband?
A: Try wearing it just behind the hairline with loose hair, a low ponytail or a bun. For a simple outfit pairing, let the yellow colour stand out against neutral clothing. These are styling suggestions rather than a guarantee of fit or hold for every hairstyle.

Please note that the majority of our items are vintage and therefore have tales to tell unless stated otherwise. Therefore, please look at pictures, descriptions and measurements provided as they give you the best idea of the story this item has to tell.

* Please note that when you buy a vintage product, the dimensions may vary slightly from a new one depending on previous care and storage.

Q: What material and colour is this Hermès headband?
A: This item is identified as a Hermès Silk Headband, and its listed colour is yellow. The exact fabric composition is not specified, so a particular silk percentage cannot be confirmed.

Q: Is this headband new or pre-owned?
A: This is a pre-owned piece in Very Good Condition. Both the exterior and interior are described as showing light traces of use. Please review the product photographs for its visible condition.

Q: Does it come with an original box or other accessories?
A: No accessories are included with this headband, as stated in the product information.

Q: How can I help stop the headband from slipping?
A: Try adjusting its position slightly behind the hairline. If needed, discreet hair grips placed in the surrounding hair may help keep your hairstyle secure. Avoid piercing the silk or adding glue, tape or permanent grip coatings to this pre-owned piece.

Q: Can I wash this silk headband at home?
A: Avoid machine washing or soaking it. Hermès recommends professional cleaning for its silk scarves and ties, but a headband may have additional construction materials. Follow any care label present and ask a professional cleaner experienced with silk accessories to assess this particular piece before cleaning.

Q: How should I protect and store it between wears?
A: Keep the silk away from rain, water and direct contact with chemicals, including perfume and hairspray. Store the headband without crushing or stretching it, in a clean, dry place. A separate protective pouch or box can help protect it between wears; neither is included with this item.
